Panda Research is a website that pays its members to do a number of things- read emails, complete some offers and fill out surveys. In this review we take an in depth look at Panda Research to learn everything you need to know about the site.
About The Company
PandaResearch.com has been around the block since 2005. It's owned by A&A Marketing Inc., the same organization that owns renowned sites InboxPays.com and MindsPay.com. However, if you're looking for their accreditation with the Better Business Bureau, then you'll be disappointed. After a thorough search, nothing came up. Widen the scope and you'll find the parent company A & A Marketing. This doesn't mean you're clear though. The BBB states that the organization has not been reviewed or accredited by them.
At first glance the site seems very outdated. The text is very small and the whole platform isn't entirely user friendly. This isn't necessarily a red flag but it definitely lowers our opinion of them.
In many ways our standards for comparison are set by Swagbucks. There interface is incredible appealing and the site has loads of offers and opportunities for its members.
Signing Up for Panda Research
Survey panels are about a dime a dozen, and most operate under the same principle- members take a few minutes of their time to answer a paid survey. There are some restrictions to acquiring a Panda Research log in, the most notable of which is non-US residents cannot sign up for it. You'll have to be 18 or above in age as well.
The registration page displays the fields you'll have to complete. Information such as date of birth, income, gender, email address, etc. You'll also be asked to fill in both demographic and personal information that will serve as targeting purposes for the available surveys. There's a pleasant surprise at the end- you'll get $3 in credits as soon as registration is completed.
Keep in mind that registration is free, but you'll soon start receiving marketing emails from them. Some of these contain profitable offers but nearly all of them require credit card information, shipping payments, or a subscription of some kind.
You'll be given a number of money making options the moment you log in to Panda Research. Survey panels can sometimes have a maximum pay rate of $75, however you should not be expecting to get any surveys at this rate. They are few and far between and fill up very quickly. A munch more realistic range is $.50 to $10 for a typical survey.
The minimum threshold for cashing out with Panda Research is $50. Members can request their money once it reaches $50 and above. Panda Research payment come in increments of $50. This means that if you have $125 in your account, you can cash out $100 (2 increments of $50), but will not be able to withdraw the remaining $25 until it reaches $50.
Panda Research will credit your account once the survey is fully completed and filled out. Panda Research accepts most of these surveys from third party companies and other organizations as advertised on their website. The surveys themselves can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour to complete.
Will you be willing to take up offers by some companies? Some examples include free trial offers, satellite TV subscriptions, etc in exchange for doing a stress test regarding their products or services. Some of these offers come in through your email when you register for a membership with Panda Research. They're not all completely free though; sometimes you'll need to put in your credit card information. In other instances you'll be required to pay for shipping plus handling. These free trials have a way of sneaking up on your credit card statement as they expire, so make a note and cancel the service before the trial period expires.
Panda Research has a decent referral program and will pay you for each successful one you make. You can invite your friends and family to make an income on the side. Each action they take (surveys, paid offers) will get you a share of the pie. As long as they keep an active account, you can take 10% of their earnings. Provide them a custom referral link to activate the referral feature.
You can take advantage of offers like this by learning more about affiliate marketing. If all you know are 5 people or less, then it won't make much of a dent.
So Is It A Scam?
Is Panda Research scam or not? At first glance, it doesn't look like a cheap scam. But take a closer look and you'll find some sketchy elements which are somewhat disconcerting. Legally, Panda Research operates within the confines of a legitimate company but in BBB's eyes, it's not so clear. They aren't accredited, and that lack of affiliation is somewhat of a red flag.
Check out the website with a magnifying glass. The whole site looks and feels very outdated. Even the copyright text reads “2005 – 2009”.
After diving into some customer reviews, the biggest red flag becomes clear – inconsistency in payment. Some members of Panda Research are getting paid; some aren't. Is there any logical explanation for all this? Payment failure is well-documented within the site and in other forums and review sites. For some, payments get delayed up to the point that there's no hope in getting it back.
Worse, Panda Research doesn't have any guarantee of payment on their website. Sure, signing up is free and you get paid in a number of ways, but this is a serious concern. Participating in the survey panel program is a lot like playing the risk game. You'll wonder if you'll be getting paid at all.
Taking this into consideration, Panda Research is not a site we can recommend. It's a mediocre survey panel at best and the payment concerns make it way too sketchy. Bottom line is that there are better sites that pay good money out there.
If you're still looking for great opportunity to make money taking online surveys, we definitely recommend that you sign up for Swagbucks. The site is easy to use, fun, and full of engaging ways to make some digital mula. Click here to sign up now!
Hundreds of survey sites are available on the internet at any time. Trying to figure out if these sites are not scams can be a really stressful time, especially if you are looking to profit. Music is a universal medium that everyone can appreciate. There are songs that are classics, and some that are one-hit wonders. Ever wondered how it felt like to be a music critic? Thanks to a platform called Slice The Pie, the music industry is now willing to pay you for your song opinions.
Listen to new, unreleased tracks and get to share your thoughts about it. Get paid doing it. SliceThePie.com is an innovation in itself. The website began in 2007 and created a medium where aspiring musicians and unknown bands can submit their songs for review by none other than the individuals who were willing to listen to it. The ratings could propel these artists for a shot at A&R, demos or radio placement.
This SliceThePie review will dive deeper on how you can make money from listening to songs. In the shortest explanation, the website pays you to review new music. Your reviews are read by the artists as invaluable feedback, and these opinions will allow them to finetune their auditory creation for the better.
Reviewers are offered monetary rewards as they write in-depth, helpful and critical reviews. It's a simple, yet effective feedback loop which benefits song critics and musicmakers alike.
How It Works
The website acts as a medium that connects independent recording artists to the “scouts” who will listen to their song. The tracks themselves are limited to at most 90 seconds; scouts leave a rating in the range of 1 to 10 (10 being the highest) and a critical review of 60 words or more. The limitations are just for guidelines, because you can listen to songs that are more than 90 seconds and leave reviews that are more than 60 words.
Scouts are randomly provided the song tracks without knowing the track name or the name of the artist. The veil is lifted once you listen to the song in full and have left an in-depth review. Aside from the main draw of reviewing music, participants may also review mobile device accessories, fashion items or watch ads to earn extra income.
How To Make Money With Slice The Pie
The hours you log in listening to the tracks and putting your thoughts into words are termed as “session times”. From there, you have to do 2 things to ensure a proper compensation:
1. Churn out a song review in text form. The review should include what you think of the vocals, the lyrics, the arrangement, the instruments used and the overall melody. The more detailed your explanation and constructive criticism, the better. How you earn will depend on how well you write your song reviews. It could also depend on the length. A typical 60 word review earns around 4 cents, while a typical 100 word review earns around 5 cents.
Scouts are also given star ratings- the higher your rating, the more you are likely to earn. The scale goes from 1 star all the way to 5 stars. All new SliceThePie.com participants start out at 1 star, and typically earn about $.01 to $.05 per track session. This translates to a pay rate of about $1.80/hour as you write a review per minute and a half.
2. Rate the song you were assigned to a scale of 1 to 10. 1 is the lowest rating, while 10 is the highest. Simply play the song for the 90-second duration and you will unlock the rating option. The review presents itself in a scale that you can move with your mouse. Then, click on the Submit button just below the scale to send in your work. You get paid for that track session.
SliceThePie.com also pays the members whenever they refer their friends. The referral process is straightforward- you get a cool 10% of all your referrals track sessions. So each time your friends listen to a song and review it, you get 10 percent of what they get. This platform may prove to be an effective way for passive earning.
Is SliceThePie Legit?
Some of you might be wondering if there's a SliceThePie scam brewing here. No one wants to be scammed out of their hard earned money and valuable time, right?
It sounds too good to be true at first. Listen to songs by new artists and get into the whole pay to review songs thing. It hardly sounds like work, and could be fun and totally unique. Music lovers will be in for a blast, because they get to review tracks and provide valuable feedback to the artists and bands.
The good news is that Slice The Pie is 100% legit. Look around the SliceThePie.com website and you'll find a website with all the necessities of a legal entity- privacy policies, proof of payment and proven reviews all over the web. The only drawback here are time and money. It will certainly not be a viable replacement for your 9 to 5 job. It's not the best way to make income online, and the rates are some of the lowest out there. Real music lovers might be able to thrive here, but those who think profit is much more important should look somewhere else.
Is It Worth My Time?
SliceThePie is definitely a novel way to earn money online. It's a welcome change to the usual pay to review, pay to survey and other pay to do something websites that could become very tedious very quickly. Listening to music and saying what you think about it may prove to be fun at first, but the limitations get in the way. The time spent and the rate of earning simply isn't enough to make it a profitable online endeavor. There are other review websites that pay better and reward you more.
It becomes obvious after a review or two. Each track session takes about 90 seconds, which limits the number of reviews that you can write. The number of hours in a day, plus the starter rating of 1 star equals a meager earning rate of just $1.80/hour.
However, if you enjoy listening to new music and giving feedback, SliceThePie could be a fun way to make some extra change. Click the link to sign up now if you're interested!
But if you're looking for a fun way to make some decent cash online, SliceThePie is not that site. While it can be fun, it's not going to make you any sizeable amount of money. For someone looking to start cranking out digital dollars, we highly recommend Swagbucks.com. With Swagbucks, there are loads of opportunities to take paid surveys, play games, earn money searching the web and lots more.
SurveySavvy is one of those get-paid-to-complete surveys website, but with a few key differences. We'll cover these differences later in our SurveySavvy review; they could mean the difference between you making some decent money on the site or not.

Companies spend a lot of money on marketing research. They want to discover more details about customers’ relationship with their products and services. Whether it is a new mobile device or an existing product; companies like Samsung, Disney, and Sony actually invest billions to find out public opinions. Because of this, you can make some extra cash taking online surveys that pay.
Completing online surveys that pay can be addictive. There’s that feeling of excitement each time you get rewarded, which makes you want to begin a new survey immediately. That excitement can cause you to get carried away and sign up for other random surveys that appear juicy. Even though there are a lot of legitimate research organizations offering money for your opinions, they are not always as legitimate as they claim to be.
There are plenty of legit paid survey sites out there. These are trusted sites that reward you after you complete surveys for market research companies. The information collected from surveys is vital in every aspect including government research, market research, medical research, etc. That information determines decision making in goods and services delivered.
How Legit Paid Surveys Work
Marketing is vital for the growth of any business. By learning to reach a specific audience, companies can increase sales; that is why you get paid by businesses when you give your opinion about a product or service rendered. You don’t require any level of qualification to take part in online surveys that pay because the point is to focus on different classes of people.
After joining a survey site, you provide some personal and demographic information, which legitimate survey sites will keep private. That information will be used in choosing participants to take surveys on certain goods and services. If you get selected to take part in a survey, you will be notified through mail to take a short survey to see if your profile suits that survey. When you are deemed qualified, you will be requested to take a longer survey.
Rewards vary based on the survey type and the company conducting the survey. You may get paid a little cash or get free products so that you can try them and provide feedback. To get the best out of online surveys, it is recommended you join several websites (10 to 20) so as to give you sufficient invitations daily at the best time frame. Regularly check your email and be honest while giving your opinion. Don’t give up if you don’t get selected for a survey after the first screening process, as it will take a while before you get selected based on your demographic.
Companies have considered surveys important in growing their business because they want to sell products consumers want. By seeking opinions of several users, they get to know what the customer is happy about, and what needs improvement. Most companies use this to outsmart their competition by delivering exactly what the customer needs.
Surveys also help businesses to determine their target demographic. By filling out your demographic information while signing in to a survey site, companies use that information to determine where their customers are based mostly. They pay survey sites to publish surveys to their users. Survey sites pay you to provide your opinions because your opinion will help them improve on their goods and services. Different types of payment: After carrying out a survey, you can get paid in the form of point system, cash, PayPal, gift cards, merchandise, etc. Most survey sites that are legitimate have several payment proofs, meaning that participants actually get paid after a survey.
All legitimate sites offering online surveys that pay do not charge registration fees – they are free to join. Some sites may even offer you bonus as you sign in, to show you they are happy you have become a part of their team and helping them increase their revenue.
If you’re serious about making money taking surveys, here are some dos and don’ts:
Have a dedicated email address specifically for surveys to avoid having your email address flooded. Create an email specifically for survey taking – you don’t want requests crowding your personal inbox, so stay organized.
Spend your gift vouchers immediately so they don’t become invalid.
Check your emails regularly and always log in because surveys close when enough people have participated.
Refer a friend. Most survey sites will reward you when you bring a new person to join.
Set aside time everyday for survey taking.
Sign up for multiple reputable sites to increase number of requests for which you qualify.
Don't let cash pile up in your survey accounts; withdraw immediately when you reach the minimum threshold because there’s no protection if a site closes.
Don't expect to get instantly rich from taking surveys. You can make decent money taking paid surveys but you're not going to be able to quit your day job.
Don't pay any registration fee. All legit paid survey sites are free to sign up. If you're being charged to participate, it's probably a scam.
How to Detect Scam Survey Sites:
Avoid sites that promise you quick money for little or no effort or if they tell you that you’ll earn great money by spending just a few minutes on your computer.
If they ask you to pay for a product to teach you how to make excellent money from taking surveys, stay away. The majority of these products are worthless and do not deliver what they promise.
Don't register with any site that charges a sign up fee. A lot of scams will charge you for signing up and fail to deliver on their promises. This is illegal. Taking part in legitimate surveys is free, so don't waste your money.
If the site does not disclose their method of payment, that's a bad sign. Avoid them.
When a lot of complaints and negative feedbacks are made against a site, be cautious. Whenever you find a survey site you want to join, read what people are saying about them. If there's more negative feedback than good, the site is probably dishonest or of poor quality.
Avoid survey sites that require credit card info – they're almost always illegitimate.
If you have a computer, internet connection and enjoy giving your opinion, you might want to consider participating in online surveys that pay to earn some extra cash. You’d be amazed by how much money you can earn by just answering some questions online. Even though it is not possible to earn a full salary just by taking online surveys, it is possible to earn $100 monthly and enjoy a lot of free products if you participate in various short surveys. While on it, be on the lookout for scams; ensure that the site you are registering with is legit. There are various ways of earning money online through reward programs. In this review, we'll cover the details of the paid survey site MyPoints. MyPoints has been around for a long time but has grown more in popularity in recent years.
What Is MyPoints?
MyPoints is an online reward program that pays when you perform certain tasks – often tasks that you normally do anyway, such as shopping, playing games, printing out coupons and reading emails. Also, you get the chance to participate in surveys, click on links that are sponsored and take part in trial offers for some more points. These points accumulate over time and you can exchange them for gifts cards. The points are about 0.62 cents each, meaning that you will have to accumulate 1600 points to cash out a $10 gift card.
This online reward site is considered a pioneer and a leader among other sites. They make purchases online from retailers in their network and users can earn reward points each time they complete a transaction. Users can then redeem those points for gift cards, cash back (via PayPal) or travel miles. The minimum payout is $10 for most rewards, but payment through PayPal starts at $25.
The site is operated under MyPoints.com, a California based organization, which is a branch of United Online, Inc., a multimillion dollar company that owns various sites such as FTD, Juno and NetZero. This company encourages cashing out using gift cards by offering you the best rates on certain gift cards. Even though it is possible to cash out through PayPal, you will get 0.55 cents for every point, which is much more than the 10% discount on the value of the points you have.
MyPoints is free to join. However, there are some conditions: you have to fill in accurate information while registering, be a citizen of the US or Canada, and be 18 years of age or older. Once you have confirmed your account, you may get overwhelmed because the site is huge, so be prepared.
How To Make Money With MyPoints
There are lots of ways to make money using MyPoints:
The website sends you emails that have links, which you will be required to click to earn 5 points (which will be around $0.035). Going through one email will take around 10 to 15 seconds on average. You can earn more points if you decide to take advantage of the offer.
Participating in surveys:
The surveys you qualify for are sent to you through email. You get paid 50 points when you complete one survey lasting for about 10 minutes, which will be around $0.35. One nice feature is that if you are disqualified for a survey, you still get 10 points! This means that you earn approximately $0.07 for every survey attempted, regardless of whether or not you were able to complete it.
MyPoints has an extensive set of partners that can reward you for shopping through their portal to get access to some popular online shopping websites. Even though the rewards are not as good as those you’ll get by using top shopping reward sites, they are not far off and can be nice if you try consolidating your efforts by using more programs. When you shop using their site, they give you a percentage on each online purchase you make in the form of cash back.
If you visit the site once a month and click on the “Easy Points” section, you’ll get asked if you need a contractor to work on your home, or if you will like to save money on groceries with coupons. Click on “I don’t” so they can offer you another opportunity to earn points by clicking on a link. You’ll get 5 points ($0.035) each time you do it. Also, you can earn points when you search for certain offers on their site.
Watching videos and playing games:
Even though this sounds crazy, you can actually earn by watching videos and playing games. The payment is not much, but if you are watching TV anyway, you can also watch these videos or have them play on a muted tab and earn some extra cash while you relax or take surveys. Same goes for playing games; if you enjoy the games, then play to the best of your ability and earn a few more points at the same time.
If you do grocery shopping of any sort, you know that it is possible for you to print online coupons and save a lot of cash. By using MyPoints, you earn 10 points every time you print a coupon. That equals about 6.2 cents on every coupon in addition to the savings you can make with it in store.
Once in awhile, MyPoints will make a deal with an advertiser to offer you a good in-store deal. For instance, you can to go Walmart and buy two boxes of large trash bags. When you scan and upload your receipt to MyPoints, you will receive 1,750 points. That will be enough to get a $10 gift card immediately. The cheapest trash bags are $5.12, so, if you go to the coupon page and print two of the $1 off coupons, you will actually make $1.76 by purchasing those bags. This is rare but the in-store promotions are a good way to get a great deal.
MyPoints has a pretty good referral program. You earn 25 points for referring somebody, 750 extra points when that person spends $20 or more while shopping, and 10% of all the points that person earns.
There is an option of cash back, which you get paid through PayPal. To redeem however, you need at least 4,550 points. You can also get a prepaid visa card in exchange for points.
Is MyPoints Legit?

Is It Worth My Time?

Do you like trying free samples? Don't you think it would be great to try free stuff without even having to leave your house? If so, you may be considering registering with BzzAgent. In this review, we'll go over all the details of BzzAgent and verify whether or not they are a scam.
Bzzagent is basically a network of consumers found all around the world who participate in voluntary campaigns for various products and services.
In a nutshell, the site consists of a network of communicators that recruit “BzzAgents” to give their opinions by word of mouth (WOM) and then report to the marketers. They have over a million registered “agents” worldwide. When getting started, you'll have to answer some questions and then BzzAgent matches you to products for you to test. In exchange for the products, they provide assistance to companies by conducting market research. Over the years, they have helped big companies like Disney, Loreal and Fisher-Price in conducting research. In order to participate, members must get an invitation to a campaign. Part of the work includes testing coupons and merchandise for free samples.
How It Works
During registration, you will fill in your personal information and link to your social media accounts, to make it easier for your family and friends to see what you are doing (they might also be interested). After this, you will answer some Bzz questions to enable the company to know the type of products you often use and would be interested in reviewing. These questions are easy and straightforward. You will be asked your age, gender, if you have kids or not and other basic questions.
Once you complete the survey, you will receive invites to new campaigns you are eligible to take. You can decline if you are not comfortable with that particular product. The invites might take hours after completing registration or could take weeks, depending on the products currently running on the campaigns.
When you become a member and login, you get the opportunity to try out a lot of products for free. The company ships the products to you! All you have to do in exchange is provide your honest opinion…what you like or dislike about the products and so on. Each item comes with a BzzAgent Bzzkit which includes coupons, small samples, larger samples and details about the item. It also provides information on how to submit your reviews. When you receive your product, you will use it and then carry out a word of mouth campaign (by telling your friends, associates and family about the product). Once that is done, you will write a Bzz report for that product. To receive more invites in the future, make sure your report is very detailed and honest.
How You Can Get More Invitations
If you are interested in trying out more products, it is best to develop your rank. BzzAgents has six tiers and the more products you review, the higher your rank will be. People having higher rankings receive more invitations. Remember that they require you to be honest about your reviews. Don’t sell something you don’t like to others.
What Products You Can Try
There are tons of products you can try, depending on which you are most comfortable using and talking to your friends about. The products range from toys to pet food, you’ll definitely find the right product for you. You can try out products such as:

The only ones are those that are common in almost any company. If you have some free time and enjoy trying out new products, this would be a good site for you.
So Is It Worth Your Time?
If you are looking for a site to make a lot of money or a full time income, then this website is not for you. It is only worth your time if you enjoy trying out free products in your free time. The concept of paid surveys isn’t anything new even if you’re hearing about it here for the first time. In this article, we will explain in depth exactly how paid online surveys work and how you can make money by taking them.
Companies have been doing market research by collecting consumer opinions for a long time now in order to find out the wants and needs of their potential and existing customers. Many companies spend lots of money conducting online research to gain a better understanding of what their customer’s desire the most.
From the business perspective, spending money on discovering what's in high demand in their selected market improves sales and ultimately yields greater profit. This is the driving idea behind paid online surveys. Because businesses are willing to pay for polls to be conducted, taking paid surveys can be a legitimate way to make some extra cash online.
These paid surveys are a win-win situation for both the target market and the companies providing them. The companies get valuable market research from studying their target audience, and the participants get paid for their efforts, either in cash, gift cards, freebies, discounts or other rewards.
If you want to get started with taking surveys or are interested in what goes on behind the scenes to getting you your paycheck, you’ve come to the right place. This guide will tell you all you need to know about the reasons companies value your opinion, how paid online surveys work, how you can earn more by doing surveys, and how to avoid getting scammed by fake websites.
Why Big Companies Need Your Input
Companies choose to spend on market research because it provides them hard data upon which they can rely to make important decisions. This data can come in the form of numbers or as subjective opinions about a product or service. For example, “How many shoes do the average working professionals buy each year?” or “What kind of shoes do working professionals like to wear to work?”
Once the data has been collected, it is analyzed to find out consumer behavior and other buying trends that can help the company make informed decisions on how to formulate, design, and market their own products. At the end of the day, every company wants to sell products that people want to buy and receiving genuine consumer feedback helps them to analyze their shortcomings and improve their existing lineup of goods.
There are two basic stages of conducting market research – one is primary and the other secondary. But oddly enough, the secondary part comes first as it uses existing resources to dig up information regarding the product types a company wants to sell and the current market demand for that product. These existing resources can be anything: magazine articles, newspapers, government statistics, social media patterns, the opinion of industry experts, etc.
After a company has successfully gathered all existing market research available, then it’s time to move on to the primary portion. Primary research offers data that a company may generate through interviews, focus groups, and paid online surveys. As we discussed earlier, the primary research collected is either quantitative or qualitative – numerical or opinionated.
Qualitative research focuses on getting in-depth to finding out answers to particular concerns through specific survey questions. Quantitative research, on the other hand, takes the vast amount of data collected through more general survey questions and organizes it into statistics. These statistics are useful when it comes to identifying the ongoing trend, market conditions, and buying habits of the consumer and future buying habits.
These paid online surveys are conducted over the Internet through email, social media platforms, or especially via certain websites that offer some incentive to the participants.
Survey site participants are generically called the survey panel in this context, and in terms of statistics, a larger and more targeted survey panel is set to yield more accurate results. If companies know that their target customer demographic is unmarried men between the ages of 30 and 50, they’d want to survey as many men in that demographic as possible. This is why users will occasionally be rejected from a survey after filling out a qualification poll. Through this method, companies can get an accurate assessment of what their target customer thinks about a certain product.
There are lots of ways in which companies can find survey panels. Paid online surveys administered online are just one of them but this method is the most popular because it's cheaper and faster than other modes. Research has shown that email has a greater incidence rate than other methods, meaning people are more likely to respond to survey emails than they are to phone calls or post mail. This is why many survey sites maintain a mailing list for survey invitations.
How Survey Websites Work
The function of survey websites is to act as a middle-man between companies who want feedback and consumers willing to give it (in exchange for rewards, of course). Companies from around the world, from the U.S. to Australia, approach the admins of these websites to arrange deals. These companies pay the survey sites to administer and promote their surveys. In turn, the survey site pays it's users a cut for participating and providing feedback. Some of the most popular survey taking websites include MySurvey, Swagbucks, and Vindale Research. Other Ways to Make Money on Survey Websites Besides Paid Online Surveys
Most survey sites offer lots of ways to make money other than survey taking! The most popular websites maintain their following not only by offering various types of incentives but also by providing plenty of different and engaging ways for members to earn money. The purpose of these offers is to turn you into a loyal and active member of their community.
So, what are the different rewards and ways of earning on survey sites? Here are some of the most common:
Cashback shopping: Who doesn’t love getting cash back? It's a great incentive for shopping because it feels like you're being paid to do so. It's usually best to use the offers only when you were already intending to buy the product. If you love saving money at discount stores or at places that offer cash back, there are a lot of survey sites out there that will open a lot more offers to you. Survey sites can offer cash back because they're paid a portion of the profit for referring you.
This is commonly known as affiliate marketing, and it is definitely a very profitable win-win situation that benefits both the websites and the survey participant.
Referral program: Referral programs are a common aspect of thousands of websites as they are a great way to get new registered members. As you may already know, some of the biggest e-commerce giants as well as other companies offer rewards and bonuses to users for referring their website to their friends and family. All you have to do is subscribe to their referral program and share a link to your friends.
When they join the website through clicking that link, you’ll be rewarded either with a fixed sum or a percentage of your friend's earnings. Referrals are a great way to incentivize users to become more active members and to promote the site to others.
Searching the web: Some survey websites like Swagbucks offer rewards when you download and use their search engine. Essentially you're being paid for the ads you see when browsing the web. While this isn't usually the highest paying option, you can make some extra cash doing something you probably already spend hours on.
This does seem easy but you should be cautious about downloading software to your computer from any site. Make sure that it's not a scam before you do so.
Playing games online: if you like playing games, why not turn the hobby into a moneymaking activity? There are tons of websites out there that reward their loyal fan base with points when the complete a game or play for a certain amount of time. These points can then be exchanged for real money. Sites are able to do this by sharing the profit they make from ads as an incentive for users to visit the site.
This can be a lucrative way to add some extra bucks to your account even though the amount is generally quite meager. This method is usually not worth your time unless you genuinely enjoy playing games.
Watching video ads: Video ads certainly aren't uncommon in the online world. While generally they're a hassle getting in the way of the content you want to watch, many survey sites have turned them into a way for members to make money. It's pretty easy to make a tab, set a playlist of paid ads going, mute it, and carry on with browsing the internet or taking surveys.
This is pretty clever, and easy way for you make some cash during the time you spend watching cat videos or increase your profits during the time you spend taking paid surveys.
How to Spot a Scam
You can always rely on us to give honest survey site reviews as well as advice on which companies not to trust. That said, if you're interested in taking paid online surveys, it's important to know how to spot a scam for yourself.
Illegitimate companies and scammers have a simple objective. They're after your information in order to get your money. It's much more common for internet scammers to target hundreds of people for small sums rather than a single person for thousands. This is because demanding large sums for a product that is somewhat unclear is an obvious red flag to most.
When offered a grand promise for a seemingly small price, many more are likely to fall for it. Being human, the idea of paying very little for great return is incredibly enticing. This is the leading idea behind offers like “Earn $200 every day! Just $10 for access to our exclusive list of high paying surveys.” When entering the arena of paid online surveys, it's important to be wary of any offer like this that seems too good to be true.
If you're uncertain whether a company is legit or not, you can do a quick online search on the site you're interested in for reviews, rating, or customer experiences. This information can be very informative when checking out a new site.
You can also check for an ‘about' or ‘contact' page. Scammers will usually omit these. And at the least, you'll be able to learn more about the company you're getting involved with.
Scammers use a diverse variety of methods to allure and dupe unsuspecting victims. Some ads and offers look so real that even the most seasoned internet veterans can be tricked. However, many scams target people new to the market who may be more susceptible to “get rich quick” schemes because they're unaware of what you can reasonably make taking surveys. It is incredibly uncommon to be offered more than $10 to complete a 20 minute survey. Not that one offering that or more is definitely a scam, it's just important to be cautious. While some experienced and well credited survey takers receive legitimate offers paying that pay big money, if you're new to survey taking you should definitely steer clear of anyone offering you hundreds to complete a survey.
Avoiding scams online is pretty easy once you’ve become familiar with how false ads work and have developed realistic expectation about how much money you can make for the time you spend. On the surface, making money taking paid online surveys may seem like a long shot, but it certainly is possible and many people enjoy the benefits of taking part in them. So don’t be afraid! TreasureTrooper is an other site following the “get paid to” model. They go all out with their Indiana Jones treasure hunt theme which, although somewhat tacky, can be a fun aspect of the user experience. The site has plenty of different ways to earn such as taking surveys, playing games, answering trivia, making phone calls, shopping online, and other tasks.
